FULL TIME HERITAGE SERVICE
CO-ORDINATOR

(Fixed term to August 2020)

Salary £21K per annum

Intercultural Youth Scotland's activity programme is designed to build confidence, grow opportunities and create positive outcomes. By taking a leading role in the organisation and delivery of youth activity sessions in Heritage, Dance, Music, Spoken Word and Gender Equality you could be part of a bright, inclusive future for Scotland's diverse young people.

Responsibilities include:

  • Communicating with and supporting young people from a range of backgrounds

  • Creating engaging activities and workshops with positive and agreed outcomes

  • Representing Intercultural Youth Scotland at conferences and meetings

  • Promoting your work through social media channels

Skills:

  • Good organiser (can write a to-do list and make it happen)

  • Used to working with groups of young people

  • Competent IT Skills (Word, Excel, all the usual stuff)

  • Creative social media content communicator

Experience:

This job is all about experience. But not work experience. As a young person you might not have a long CV but you've got alot of important experience. Lived experience. Experience of how it feels to be young and different. Experience of how it feels have more than one culture / language / identity. If this could be you, please get in touch.
